Paris: The quarterly chronicles, part three
Wrapping up week three! Time has a funny way of tricking you - it felt like I still had so much time, and now I am at the beginning of my final full week here. We had a few museums on our to do list, but I find I'm not drawn to them. We've been much more interested in walking down undiscovered streets in the beautiful, temperate weather! Fit in some old favorites this week and then some new adventures like the Festival of Bread and Taste of Paris. We still have an ample list of places to visit and restaurants to try. Let's see what I report back next week!
This sprawling flea market made for hours of amusement! This massive area housed more markets than we could see all of. Perhaps another visit before we leave? We'll see...
Festival of Bread
It was such a treat to be here for the annual Festival of Bread. I found some different kinds of breads and pastries I had not heard of before but will never forget now!
Taste of Paris
We were lucky for our trip to coincide with Taste of Paris! We were able to sample Michelin star restaurants at a fraction of the price. The event took place at the Grand Palais and each restaurant had a booth set up. You would load your card with credit and then go to each booth for a sample off a short menu.
Random yummies from the week
We stumbled on this pop up collab between artist Nathalie Lete and Monoprix which was so cute!
Au Revoir! xxoo
