Little Empire Branding
Founder Megan Jean Sovern needed a logo system for her new business, Little Empire, a boutique children’s clothing resale shop in Decatur, GA. We worked together to create a set of logos that looked great on their own and within the family. The tone is mischievous, approachable, a little rebellious and hand crafted!

Little Empire Hero Logo
Megan envisioned one hero logo for the brand along with several other treatments she could use in packaging, marketing and social media. We explored different shapes, accompanying icons and lettering treatment.
Development
We honed in on the crown for the main logo and explored how to liven up the words.
Final Logo
Megan wanted the lettering to be able to live inside and outside of the crown. Here’s where we landed!
Support Graphics
Remember that system I mentioned? Here it is! We came up with a ton of fun ideas to support the brand and future marketing needs.
Little Empire Originals Logo
Little Empire Originals is the in house arm of the brand. We wanted to embrace the playfulness of the acronym LEO so we went full lion and never looked back!
Outcome
We landed on a logo system that features the super cute lion face paired with custom lettering and also a bonus treatment reminiscent of thread looping, a satisfying nod to fabric, textiles and everything great about Little Empire.

LEO Graphic Tees
Megan released a set of graphic tees featuring real questions from kids. I created the custom lettering for the tees and the brand lion makes an appearance on the label.
Little Umpire Logo
Megan also saw an opportunity in the children’s resale market for sports equipment and athletic wear, subsequently creating Little Umpire.
